Dance classes for the mind, body and soul

Re’Jew’venate Studio is a 60 minute women's inspirational dance class for the mind, body and soul. It uses inspiring Jewish music and integrates Judaism’s positive and growth-oriented messages into our bodies. It is based on the NIA Technique, a mind/body conditioning, health and fitness alternative that emerged in the 1980s.

The premise of NIA and Re’Jew’venate Studio is to discover the joy of movement. As women, we are taught we can bring Moshiach with Joy and Dance! May we merit to dance towards the ultimate redemption speedily in our days!

1

Provide Jewish women an opportunity to feel strong & beautiful in our bodies, and to feel empowered about our mission in the world.

2

Give Jewish women a kosher outlet to let go, have fun while connecting with other Jewish women in a positive environment.

3

Tune in to the particular energy each holiday brings to its time of year through music and dance.

Goals of Re'Jew'Venate Dance Workshops

I was 22 when I discovered NIA in Boston. I had been doing traditional exercise methods while trying to get fit, such as the treadmill, elliptical and kickboxing. From the very first NIA class, I noticed how the hour flew by, and I loved how strong and flexible I felt in my body and mind. I continued to practice NIA and always imagined how amazing it would be if I could incorporate Jewish music to inspire the soul as well. I dreamed of bringing the joy of NIA to Jewish women all over the world. In 2011 I took the training course to become a certified NIA instructor. I learned all the fundamentals of NIA and incorporated them into Re’Jew’venate Studio.

Testimonials

"I recently had the pleasure of joining Saras art and dance workshops. She led an art process at the JLI retreat for 30 people and got everyone to see more of their inner essence through their own creativity.

I also joined her feminine and freeing tu baav dance workshop at the house of more, and felt uplifted, grounded and empowered. Whether it may be through dancing or painting …Sara leads us to our deeper inner knowing and expression of self through both her gentle wisdom and transparent strength.

With gracious ease, Sara helps us lift off our inner covers and peek at what’s really going on internally, through the pleasure of colors and the joy of movement we get to understand unknown parts and discover more of truths about our greatness that reflects HaShem Himself."
