This painting was inspired around Purim this year, when there were so many tragedies and dark moments. I was reminded of the words from Megillas Esther; ‘For the Jews there was light, joy, gladness and honor, So may it be for us,’
I view it as a prayer and a reminder that even if we are in darkness temporarily, it will all be good in the end.
